Don Galante

Management is an Investment Advisory firm specializing in Macro economic trends and the Global Fixed

Income markets. Mr. Galante has 29 years of trading and management experience in the global fixed

income markets and recently served as chief investment officer, chairman of the investment committee

and head of North American fixed income for MF Global Inc.

 

Previously, Mr. Galante served as Chief Operating Officer and executive vice president at Mizuho

Securities USA. His responsibilities included all areas of support, including information technology,

accounting, operations, facilities and human resources. He was also a member of the Risk Management

Committee and acted as risk supervisor for market risk and operational risk.

 

Mr. Galante has a history of building and running profitable trading operations. Over the course of his

career he has established highly successful finance and arbitrage trading operations at Dresdner

Kleinwort Benson, Barclays Bank, and Citicorp. As head of fixed income for Dresdner, Mr. Galante led the

effort to build a dealership business and to establish a Section 20 status for the organization. As a

member of the Asset and Liability Management committee, he optimized the bank’s balance sheet and

directed all treasury operations.

 

Mr. Galante has served on the Trading Practices Committee for the Securities Industry and Financial

Markets Association as well as on multiple advisory committees representing the Futures Industry

Association.
