Donor Services
A number of individual and anonymous Donors are partners in our work. Donors can join our existing grant funds with a minimum of $25,000. We also have a lower rate of $5000 for younger Donors. For more information, please contact New World's President, Colin Greer.
Different ways of giving have different benefits. We urge you to talk with your financial advisers about how giving can become part of your financial plans. We also invite you to call us for a more detailed discussion about how you can become a partner in the New World's work.
We offer the following services to Donors who typically contribute $100,000 or more.
Staff services to family foundations allow existing foundations to tap The New World Foundation's staff for grant recommendations. Using these services, a small family foundation gains access to a field staff that it could not feasibly support on its own. Numerous foundations take advantage of the service. New World treats this service as confidential. Foundations are free to disclose it if they choose.
New fund development is a service offered to new donor groups and to small foundations that are either starting up or re-thinking their agendas. Foundation staff works with individuals, families and boards to evaluate past performance, assess current goals and explore funding opportunities.
Donor-advised funds enable donors to make long-term commitments to specific programmatic missions. The Staff and Board of The New World Foundation meet with donors to clarify their priorities. Foundation staff members then recommend appropriate grantees and work with donors and an agreed-upon board in making grants. The Foundation can manage all government and private record keeping.
Our current donor-advised funds include the Mona Fund, the Quansoo Fund, the Lenora Barry Fund, the RPG Fund, the Leveller Fund, the PB Fund, the MS Bloome Fund, the Political Participation Project, the National Youth Service Project, and the Arts for Justice Project.
The New World Foundation charges modest fees, in order to maximize dollars in the field.
