Heeten Kalan is Senior Program Officer for the Environmental Health & Justice Fund at The New World Foundation. He is also the part-time director of groundWork USA, the American office of one of South Africa’s strongest environmental justice organizations.

Julie Goodridge is President and founder of NorthStar Asset Management in Boston. She is a financial advisor and a very active member of the Social Investment Forum. She was Assistant Vice-President at Dean Witter Reynolds, and a stockbroker at EF Hutton and Merrill Lynch. Julie was a lead plaintiff in a legal case that won marriage rights for same-sex couples in Massachusetts. She served on the New World Board for 6 years, and was its Treasurer for 5.

Penn Loh is Executive Director of Alternatives for Community & Environment (ACE), an environmental justice organization working in low-income communities and communities of color in Greater Boston. Penn was formerly a Research Associate at the Pacific Institute for Studies in Development, Environment, and Security in Oakland, California and a Research Analyst at the Tellus Institute for Resource and Environmental Strategies in Boston.
