Maria del Rosario Rodriguez (Secretary) is the founding Director of the Florida Immigrant Coalition, an immigrant-led, statewide network that educates, organizes and advocates for the fair treatment of all people, including immigrants. For the past 20 years she has worked to defend the basic human rights of low income and migrant peoples. She also served as Deputy Director of the Human Services Coalition where she helped found a variety of groups including the Union of the Uninsured.
